Cloths a good start, I'd be very careful what you use chemical wise and certainly do not use anything that may scratch. I'm about to have a go at mine for the first time so I'll check the forum I know I've seen threads on this take a look through or search the wiki to find solutions. From what I can see what ever I use I'd like to reduce the static on there it's a magnet for dust!

If it's smearing then there is something on it.

I had that problem so I twisted myself sideways and gave it some welly with a single microfibre cloth layer on the end of a finger.

It worked a treat and it's all now nice & clean, even under sunlight.

Being a big speccy four-eyes, I have a glasses cleaning cloth which I use on mine - works a treat! Just pop into Specsavers and get one for about £1.50.

I keep a clean leather which I dampen. Does the whole facia, no problem. Use it gently and remove your watch and rings so as not to cause any scratches.

NB: I also use it on the central tunnel area as well.
