Great picture

I friend of mine has a bronze CTS it looks amazing when the sun catches it just right.

Unfortunately he really doesn't look after it

He even lets his wife drive it

Cheers DR
Only got the car last week, when my brother saw it the weather was dull and swore other bronze civics he's seen were a different colour of bronze, much lighter and I must have another colour!

Deep bronze is a good colour but I can't find a good high quality shiny picture where
the different is visible between nhb and deep bronze.

Yep, it seems so, maybe that was why it got hit, the owner of the people carrier next me, was blinded by it's reflection....... I cleaned it especially to go see my GF's parents, sisters, fiance and his parents.... then it was parked so far away no one saw it Still I knew it was shiny, just wait till it gets some collinite on the sides.... that was just using megs gold class and a bit of hard work.....

That really is a good shine Tom.

Also IMO that dent can be removed easily and without trace.

I bring shame on my whole family when I look a the shine on these cars. I am trying I really am, wash my car myself now, that a big step for me.

Next step is to move on to doing more than washing!

Guys and Gals well done your cars look fantastic - keep up the good work.

I did not alter this pic at all. The car really was that shiny.

Thanks guys, I do try (and I have some time on my hands occasionally, yest strangely I havn't done that much work on the sides, as they don't seem to get that dirty/dull, however the bonnet requires constant "buffing" to keep at it's best...... ).

Tom

PS: Fingers crossed dimply, just means I'll have to clean the car before he arrives

Havn't tried them yet Angie (both doors are supposedly being painted by Honda at some point, and so I don't want anything that can make them go "you've done this"... also tempted to see if the bodyshop can do it while it's in for a small backhander.....). TBH, the aerosol and hairdryer improved it slightly, but not enough to miss it, on any other colour I don't think you'd have noticed it (possibly not even on any other NHB civ that easily), but as it is so shiny, it distorts the image badly and shows up to me at least like a sore thumb.......

It's also one more thing to pay for (on top of just finding out the price to get soem work bound for marking.......130+ quid to bind three copies of a theses!!!!!!!).... lifes expensive nowadays.....

Tom

130+ quid! The university where I lecture, has a student organisation (part of the union) that only charges students 20 euro (15 quid) per thesis. One more vote for Finland over "rip off Britain"! Yeah!
