Nope I don't funnily enough he he

But....I would just like to say a big thank you to Stella! He put some pics up in aa thread I started about another marques paint job and he brought back something i've not seen since 1996 - the Turtle Wax Chip Stick!

I went and got myself a bottle with the stick (which seems just like a crayon?) and well spent an hour on my hands knees and on my back on the drive filling in the crap BMW Paint work and it worked a treat!

My folks are back from their holidays on Friday so no doubt I will have to point out the now all colour coded bumper (as he's a lazy so and so hence why he drives a BMW) which was almost white in some places but I know he will be a happy man.

Thank you so much Stella! Your a star!!!!

Hi. I was using Meguiar's which was always good. Believe it or not, the new stuff is Turtle Wax Ice! Does the paintwork and all of the plastic trim and lights. Worked great on the dashboard display too. Was well impressed

About 75% - rest was some dust (from my ex tree) which had blown over the car, I'm quite f'd off with the bonnet but from more than 4 feet away it's not so bad.

I know what you mean - my Accord's the same.
From a slight distance, looks lovely, but as soon as you're up close and personal - a crying shame.
Not exactly helped by the fact the paint is soft and thinner than you'll find on a 3 Series for example, nor that some (nearly all?) councils fill the potholes (when they can be arsed to) with loose fill, which gets kicked up by everyone driving over it.

Never mind, Sivad, the chips seem to be a rite of passage these days, the Turtle wax stick will improve the look, just a shame you have to buy the big bottle of polish to get it !! Still, nice reflections, thanks...
