I bought a single clear laquer nib applicator pen.

Emptied it out and poured my Galaxy Grey touchup pen contents into it.

I've now got a Galaxy Grey nib applicator which is by far better and more accurate than the wallpaper brush they give you.

I just use a bent paperclip, that works just as well.

Slightly different I know, but I went to halfords for some Cosmic Grey. They tried 3 times to match the paint code and each was completely wrong! I then found out it was cheaper to by touch up paint from Honda!

I used an artists paint brush to touch up my stone chips. A very, very fine one (only a couple of bristles). It worked a treat.

Good one Kremmen, as Halfords don't do alabaster silver.

I'm going to see if Halfords still do the Mer scratch repair system.

Auto express have just given it a 5 star rating.

I'm not too sure whether the clear top coat on our Civics is up to it!

Here's the Halfords link: Mer Scratch & Stone Chip Repair Kit from Halfords Price £9.99

I think it's just warning us that the included Clearcoat in the kit is a bit nasty.

There's an earlier thread here: http://www.civinfo.com/forum/cleanin...-chip-kit.html

The buffer looks a bit aggressive on the video but the end result looks amazing. Undetectable repair.

PS: This is the thread you re-raised Krem, but there's a link to QVC I thought may still work; alas they, like Halfords, are also out of stock so the video demo couldn't be accessed. Al.

Just ask for a touch up stick at the dealers, they are only about a fiver.

And then get a close matching Halfords kit and pour your paint into it.

I find the nib applicators far easier to use and control the paint flow.
