Image Pack on a used Civic.

I'm planning to buy a diesel Type S GT (used) this November and I'm wondering if its possible to take your used civic to Honda and get the Image Pack installed, or do you have to have it as an optional extra on a Brand New one?

If it is possible, does anyone know how much it costs?

Cheers

It can be fitted anytime by your local Honda Dealer.
I'm not so sure about the Type-S Image Pack but the 5-door is pretty easy to fit so you might be able to save money by buying it on here and fitting yourself. Holdcroft Honda & Lancaster Honda were offering them at a good price!

Best of luck!

Hey Vet, I've got all the pics of your mint civic saved in "My Pictures" on my PC. It's almost exactly what I'm aiming for, but in 3 doors. I do have a kid though, so seeing how good your 5 door looks makes me feel better if my Wife decides to step in if you know what I mean.

If you buy them after the car has left the factory, is it still classed as "factory fitted" for insurance purposes?

I really would recommend it, the difference it makes is well worth the money, even if it is for just a few bits of plastic
If you go for the Type-S you could just colour code it and it would be the same as the Type-R. Having said that the front and rear splitter for the Type-S/R is VERY nice
Best of luck with whatever you decide, you must post some pictures of the final result in the gallery!

The Image Pack is technically never a 'factory fitted' option, as far as I am aware it is always a dealer fit, even with the SE+ range?
Best thing is to make sure your insurance company knows and then they can't try and wriggle out of a claim!
