Body Kits...

Does anyone know whether you can put a body kit on the Civic 1.8 ishift EX model (meaning can i go to a dealer and they fit it) or can you only get the side/back and front skirts colour coded?

You can get a full body kit such as the Grand Prix Pack (I think it is called Image Pack in the UK).

It says in here, Colour coding , post number two, that the image pack includes colour coding. Don't know if the prices are for retro fitting it though.

Did you get a brochure from the dealer???
is that just the civic brocure or an actual brochure for add-ons etc?

Im still in the process of researching how much it will cost for the colour coding!!!

it was a accessories brochure but had a couple of different bumper kits for the 5 dr, i dunno wether to get the black strip around my bumpers colour coded if i were to get the aero pack, it looks nice in both instances, but i think the black outline gives it some shape.

it think its better to colour code the car first, then consider the body kits.
Judging from past conversations, people save up to colour code first!!!

Thats def what im gonna do... just saving for it as i need new tyres and i wanna recondition the alloys as well..... AGGGGGG MONEYYYYYY!!!

tell me about it, i wish i could get it for cheaper than 1k, i might just get the colour coded spoiler fitted first, works out 100 quid more expensive but u can break it down into 2 payments. i see what u mean about the colour coding of the black part, but i do like it, gives a bit of a contrast to the colour.

i just realised that you have the tangerine colour! yeah it prob does look good with the black around it!
cos mines black with the charcoal coloured rim, i dont think it quite looks as good unless it was colour coded, but your car would look good either way, black trim or tangerine!

i think im looking at spending about 1k as well, your right, but its so worth it!

what wheels you got? mine have too many scratches for my liking, so got a quote to recondition them for £240. New tyres... dont get me started!!!

i dont know where to ask about the type r grills, maybe check ebay first, or ask around at garages... Theres always something on ebay!!! lol

lets put it this way... everything is going to cost a lot!!!

The brochure has all the names of the alloys in there, have a good look as there are some nice ones now. Or alternaitvely look at alloy wheel specialists. I love the 18s i got on mine... bouncy but fun! lol

i was told the ride would be much rougher even by increasing it by 1" and putting low profiles on them, how do u correct that? obviously cheap way would not be to put them on. lol

Not noticed any difference between the ride in mine with 18's and the demo car with 17's.
