If the Birds see their reflection in our cars, and they decide to drop their dinner, maybe Matt colours will make come back in fashion! ........ Then again maybe not

Yeah NHB does seem to attract more poo than most. MAybe its time for another birdflu outbreak, and we should issue a
Ultimatum. STop pooing on our cars, and we will give you the flu shot? seems fair to me - lol |

bird poo
A few years ago when I had a Cavalier SRi back in the day, I was driving through town in a beautiful sunny day. I had my sunroof open and was enjoying the sunshine and fresh sea air... when splat got bombed by a bloody seagull who must have pinched someones fish supper then decided to empty their guts on to my car and yes you guest it, it came right in my bloody sunroof and covered me and my better half... I had an initial "What the f**k...!!" reaction then we both burst out laughing..
Managed to hold my own stomach down and headed home to clean up. It was a right mess but it cleaned up ok. We both jumped into the shower and ..well that's another story.. Flying verman need to be culled on a regular basis I feel.... |

Well, this is getting beyond a joke!!!!!! EVERTIME I go out in this car, it gets hit with birds droppings. It does not matter where I park, splat, it gets hit.
ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!! This is beginning to spoil my 'fun' with this car. I have only done 175 miles since buying this car and have had to wash it more than I ever did my Civic 2.2 sport in the whole time I had it(8 months)!!!!! Its not even if its a little bit of droppings, there loads of it, all in the awkward places like the grill and down in the edges of painted trims etc. I think I am going to have to carry a 'cleaning kit' with me comprising of water, sponge, leather, polish and cloth. I would not mind so much if it did not damage the paintwork but as soon as I see it, it's like a countdown to get home before the paintwork gets trashed by dried bird plop.!!!!!!! Oh dear Regards Pumatron. |

Oh Pumatron you really do have my sympathy as i have the same problem....and yes i own a NHB CTR
I live by a large colony of rooks and even though the trees are on the otherside of the road from my house, my car is underneath their flightpath. Sometimes my car looks like someone has thrown white paint all over it Just to add insult to injury they are really noisy and wake me up at about 4am. I am seriously considering shooting them illegal or not. In the meantime i have to keep parking away from the house.....b******ds! |

LOL I visit my parents in Leicestershire and noticed the pigeons up there are the size of turkeys. I am scared of coming close to them let alone parking beneath any tress!!! If anyone fancy pigeon pie, let me know, I think I can talk to a game keeper up there for some local pigeons !!! |
