20 mins of NHB Shiny Bliss...then it rained...
4 hours of hard slog gettin the spaceship all shiny
Used snow foam lance twice (really enjoyed this bit!) Shampoo and dried it carefully Wheels all sparkly Interior squeaky clean Windows clear Experimented on smaller door panel with collinite Wax Wow - it sure was lookin good, especially since for 8 months ive been goin to the bosnian car wash down the road instead, and this was my first ever washing attempt of my own on the spaceship! Stood back admiring the view...went off for a cuppa to return to wax other panels....and guess wot? it started rainin! arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! It was nice and sunny before too! Gotta laugh eh? |

Typical British weather, i have another problem wash and clean the car and by time i have got from the front to the back the bonnet is covered in a film of dust, although its partly to do with the dusty soil at the side of my driveway which is getting covered with turf soon.

If I didn't have a garage I doubt that I would put any serious effort into the cleaning process.
As it is I can give it a good going over, then if the weather looks dodgy finish off in the garage. Then - sod's law - next time out it chucks it down |

For once I'm actually glad of the rain!
Some genious at the council has decided to build a by-pass along the back of my house and the whole place is covered in dust! I've no sooner washed the car and it suddenly turns tangerine with the dust! The rain is a bit of a godsend keeping the dust down today! |
