I like the painting around the air inlets. I would have done the same mod. around the centre vent also, if I were you. It really makes your spaceship very personalized and very outstanding.
Thanks for giving me some new 'inputs'!

I don't believe that for one second.
robbo - read my post again.

''If he wants to sell it, yes he will'' - as in yes he will have to buy replacement parts.

Because the car has been so 'specialised', we would insist on it either being put back 'as stock parts' or i'd certainly deduct the cost of the parts and the labour to have them replaced, along with any other areas of 'devaluation'. I certainly wouldnt want it re-painted or painted a different colour.

I agree, minor mods that increase or spec the car up like fitting satnav etc. will add value, however doing 'that' to it will drop the price through the floor.

I wouldn't say that this devalues the car. Because it is highly depending on the quality of the work and of course the whole package of the car. That being said I would not want to have it that way unless the car was pimped a bit on the outside as well.

Judging from what is done so far, I like it. But it is difficult to determine where to draw the line. What is too much? I would also have the glovebox painted, but not do more than that I think... and I would do it in another colour. Not very fond of blue

yes installing satnav gives more valeu to the car but takes more out of youre wallet
then what you get back for it
if you give now almost 3000 euro for the satnav
when you sell it you lose more then you win !
