How often do you polish your car?

How often do you polish your car. I try to wash it once a week and to polish it every 4 weeks. What do others do?

Erm what about a NEVER option??? I've got the Supaguard protection so don't want to polish that off, just a good Meguiars gold class shampoo wash every week or two for me

I take it by Polish u mean Wax? In witch case every 4-6 weeks......I also try and wash the car every week

As Deemon said if you mean polish then it's every 12-16 weeks, but if it's wax then that's every 2 weeks.

I wax mine about every 5 weeks. A mate of mine who is a bodyshop manager once told me that you should not wax too often as it makes the paint brittle. not sure if it still applies these days.

My Civic's a bit of a testing ground for Meguiar's products at the moment, so it's getting polished or waxed most Sundays. At present I'm using the polish more: it gives the alabaster silver a tasty wet look.

Wash?

What is this - some options I missed when I picked up my car. Should I go back and complain??????? Are they go faster goodies?????
