Believe it or believe it not, I have no need for spray shops....but I do know of a garage in Gorgie that does reprays and the guys is very highly recommended from a guy I work with. He's sent a few folk there and they have had nothing but really good comments to make about the work they do. They are into restoration of cars and they make a fab finish.

I also know the guy who supplies the paint to the garages in Scotland and I can ask him who is needing the work at the moment. I did this when some nutter kicked my car door in at lights at 7.20am on a Friday morning in Edinburgh, ended up taking it to Sloans body shop on Gorgie Road (I had a Mini) and they fixed the door and resprayed for £220 as they ***'t busy and needed the work.

Dealers always charge a lot more and you'd have to take it to the one in the center of Edinburgh (Abbey Hill) as they don't have a paint shop at Sighthill.

I'll get you guys the name and number for the guy who does the paint. I have his mobile number but I don't think he'd apprciate that being put out online. Its a family run business (father and son) and they pride themselves on their work.

Franny fitting the spoiler looks an absolute doddle, one screw at either end on a clip that goes under the tailgate, invisible from the outside and the rest is double sided sticky tape. Should take 20 mins max.

Had it sprayed at D H Autosprayers in Bonnyrigg Nr Edinburgh, £60, dropped in on Saturday morning and picked it up Last night. They have done a really good job. Took about 5 minutes to fit once I had figured out the right way to screw the brackets on. painted the calipers Gold as well, will post pics when I have polished it on Friday.
