Interior cleaning , how long do you spend ?

I love polishing and waxing and will spend absolutley hours as I know most of you do, but do we spend nearly as much on the interior ?.
Personally speaking the answer is NO !!. I invested in one of the handheld Dyson cleaners which has a battery life al of 7 mins. When the battery runs out thats the end of cleaning . I suppose it also depends on who uses the car as well.
Just as a matter of interest how many on here have also bought the Dyson ? and what are your thoughts as the battery life is limited.

So the 2 points to my questions............

1. How long do you spend cleaing the interior
2.Have you got the Dyson ( as shown below) and what are your thoughts ?

As much as I love that cleaner the battery is pants! Its not long enough to do a proper job, when I say proper i'm talking at least 2 hours doing the seats and carpet before I've even got to the dash!

I've started using they new super dooper Vax thinging that my Mum has just bought with its Turbo Brush, no loss of suction and lasts more than 7 mins.

The Dyson is good for a quick going over, cleaning up a wee bit of washing powder on the floor but as for cleaning a whole car you can't beat a proper vacume.

I have considered buying more batteries and keeping them on charge for when I need them but thats just throwing away good money really.

Fortunately I have a powered garage.

My old trusty Vax sits in the corner and every weekend it gets put to use with the brush attachment

(except for the fragile dash surround), that gets the microfibre treatment.

We've got one of those Dysons. Best christmas pressie we've ever had off my parents for following the toddler round the house. Use it every now and then for quick fixes in the car, but can't beat wheeling out the proper hoover for the proper job. Don't think I've ever spent 2 hours on the inside though!!

I was going to buy this handheld but for the suction that you need, it cant run off 12 or 24v. You just dont get the prolonged power as that off of a 240v mains dyson!!

I would send about 20 minutes hovering out the car. I dont let it get to a stage that it gets really mucky so 20 mins is enough!

I don't have feet marks on the roof, just dents from where my head has hit it in the back lol!!!

No I'm talking about a full clean, including taking out the mats hoovering them and cleaning any marks on them (due to them being red), cleaning the glass, hoovering the boot, inside the doors, cup holders, door handles, round the gator etc oh and hoovering the seats, under the seats front and back, down the sides of the seats where its hard to get to, hoovering the back of the seats, wiping them down with a damp cloth (or something stronger if there are stubborn marks as that superguard is pi$h) then re hoovering them to make sure they are in tip top condition oh and then hoovering the back of the mats before you out them back in the car

It takes time you know I love my car and if it takes me a whole day inside and out then so be it

Inside of my car stays pretty clean, unless I go the beach to or something...

Most of the time, I find I can have a quick wipe down with a cloth and a quick 15 minute (thats quick for me!!) go over with Henry (the hoover)

Have given the leather its first treatment, seen as I've had it more than six months...!

Talking Eh ?

I have no idea whatsoever, as to how long it takes ...

After all, I've only had the car for 8 months ! ...

Cleaning is a part of the 12-months service, isn't it ? ...
