ctr gear knob

i'm looking to get a ctr gearknob but i cant find the DIY guide to installing it. i can get the knob off but i dont know how to fit the gaitor on

Just remove the trim around the gear lever (prises up)
Fit the gaiter around and refit the trim on top.
Done
Ps..Its very tight
