type r lights on a 5 door

hi guys...how easy is it fitting full set of type r rear lights to a 5 door ES?

is it worth it?

Changing the outer lamps, the indicators, is dead easy. Details of how to do it and what you need is in this thread.

The centre sections, which are the bits on the boot lid are more complicated as the lights are laid out differently on the Type R. It can be done, and I think I have read how to do it somewhere here, but I can't find it at the moment.

I think that doing the indicators would improve the look on most colours, but changing the centre bits works only on Red, Silver and Black Civics

hi there, in just over a weeks time, i will have lights from a type S- both indicators and brake lights tinted in black, if you are interested p.m. me and il get them sorted for you. i would have done them this week however im going to spain.

what are these tints you are talkng about??????

i have a type s and ive read here about type r lights and tints but cannot find any pics
