Went to Halfords today, bought the Meguiers Water Magnet, step 2 & 3 polish wax and wheel cleaning brush. I spent 2-3 hours cleaning my NHB ES.
The water magnet cloth is excellant, mopped up the water with no water marks, the wheel cleaning brush works well. Step 2 & 3 wax polishes made a really deep shine. Also bought Halfords microfibre cloths to final polish. Transformed the car, I can honestly say for a couple hours work in the winter it is the first time I really feel happy with the finish. At last I am really happy. Always had a small doubt that I picked the wrong colur but no more. Thanks to all who suggested Meguiers products. |

couldn't agree more and (by the looks of things) you live in the right place too! back to the Swissol - I'm still under half way through the tub I bought 2 years ago. And that's with obsessive cleaning of my TT! (less obsessive cleaning of the Civic Expensive - but fantastic results, and it lasts for ages |

Could you really justify that price for a clean shiny car?! Maybe if it was the 'Bugatti Royale, a rare late 1920's ultra-luxury car'. Could get buy a civic or two sets of wax, know where my choice would be! |

their is no real need to spend over the odds on polish, if u are worried about getting horrible white marks on the plastics etc use panel wipe it takes them away no prob and also takes the tar spots that stick half way up ** doors etc u can feel it when u run your hand along the panels it feels ruff,
it dose not harm the paint work in anyway. its part of my job as a spray painter |
