Superguard

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has used superguard on their alcatera seats and if it was any good ?
I know you can get the gel aplicators for the exterior protection but id be a bit worried about applying it.
They are selling a load of the superguard range on ebay...........................do u guys recon it will be the real stuff?
Theres also a load of meguires on there 2.

I had the same question and emailed the local manager, whos address can be found for your area on supagard.co.uk

Here is part of his reply:-

Alcantara looks like suede, feels like suede but is a man-made material. We would advise against applying our fabric protector to alcantara however, we supply a product for cleaning leather/suede and we recommend the use of this product on alcantara to help to clean the material as time goes on - this product should be available from your Dealer.

I am going to ask the dealer if they can do the bodywork and carpets only, perhaps I will get a discount.

Dont fancy trying to do myself just in case of any mishaps.

I had my seats treated with supaguard - or was this a different type do you think?
