I am not sure about the front, but the rear wouldn't be a straight swap.
The exhaust pipes are a different shape, and not knowing how the chrome trims are connected to the exhaust pipes, or if they come out at the same location, I wouldn't like to say if it could be done.

I looked at this, on and off

the S (and R) front and rear skirts are flared back out at the bottom edges.

which means that to 'meet' them, you also need the wheel arch plastics.

which then means you need the side skirts, to 'meet' them properly.

I don't think the triangles will be a problem, as nowhere does Honda mention new exhausts for the S.

So - gut feel says yes, doable, but not cheap

If you need to replace all the grey trim, you may as well get it colour coded before it goes on the car. Might save you a few bob and enhance the look of the car even further.

Hi guys, This is something i have been seriously looking into and recently spent some time at the local dealers with the very helpful parts guy....went through with him and got all the parts prices required to put the S trims on the 5 door and was expecting it to be a fortune when you consider the Grand Prix kit costs over £1000 pounds for less parts. Was very pleasantly suprised to find the quote came to just over £500...... So once funds available, will be ordering the parts and making a 5 door S!!!! only thing i have to go back and check is whether the front of the rear arch section to side skirt fixing points are the same as the rear arch on the 5 door goes all the way down to the skirt but the skirt on the S goes up at the end so the S rear arch is shorter at the front if that makes any sense!!!!!

Other stumbling block will be wheels as the S arches are wider at the rear to accomodate the wider rear track so not sure the standard 16inch SE alloys would look right!!!

Wil keep you posted and if all goes well (funds wise) will post some pics of the finished project.

I have just checked out the fitments for the Type S front and rear skirts to the 5 door.
You will have to fit the side skirts also but they are different due to the "S" being 3 door, the skirt differs alone the edge where the rear doors are and wheel arch on the 5 door!
What a bummer cos if you could fit it and colour code it it would look rather like a Type "R"

so - doable, but more expense?

or just not-doable?

both . just one more than the other

What about Type R front, sides & back skirts on a normal 5door?

If that's possible I'm getting it, don't give a *bleep* if it's expensive
