I have a sport and I have a spoiler .... came with the car and I know it's an option when you buy a new one and I was sure you you could buy one as an accessory!

If I've got it wrong, apologies.......

That's not the Type-R Spoiler. This one is smaller.

I disagree, if the correct parts are chosen It can look even more sophisticated. I agree that body kits and OTT spoilers can ruin cars and souped up Nova's, Saxo's and Corsa's make my blood boil! Generally the Honda manufactured spoilers etc add to the car, not detract.

The important thing is that it can be done! If you had any pictures that you could post it would be greatly appreciated!

Thumbs up

there were NO Instructions or template supplied so they had to dismantle the dealers" sons ctr and take it from there but be warned not all dealers are as good as mine didnt get the car back untl it was perfect thats why it took 3 days. its held on with 4 bolts and a dab of silicone also got the blue footwell lights in as well {spooky}

So did they replace the lower screen and weld some brackets on so it could be properly bolted on?
Sounds like a bargain if they did, well done.

I'm sure they did a good job putting it on. Any pics ?

Off course, the speed on a non-CTR car is much lower so it will stay on easier. On a CTR it needs to be rock solid or the G-forces will tear it off.

Yeah not a drastic difference. Obviously the Type R is quicker but it would have to be ragged hard to make any major difference.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm in there?

Sounds a bit strange, because if they drill through the screen there isn't anything there to bolt to! Unless they removed the screen and welded on some brackets to the tailgate then drilled and reused it!
Either way if its on and secure best leave it alone.
Looks like the first on here to admit to having one anyway.
