G-Forces are caused by 90 degree turns not speed. I found the diesel a lot less quicker in those corners I tell you. But agreed, I'm quite afraid I wil pull up next to a diesel one of these days at the traffic light and end up loosing the dragrace to the next traffic lights. Let's hope it's an iShift diesel when it does happen

There's no such thing as a I-Shift Diesel.

The I-Shift gearbox can't handle the torque ^^ (340 2.2 / 193 Type-R / 174 1.8)

Having said that I'm muttering last few weeks how the Type-R is (almost) not more expensive than my oil plant :/ Tempted to swap sometimes

The I-shift box is the same as the normal box so technically if an I-shift unit was fitted on top of a diesel box it would work. Of course Honda haven't done that yet as you say.

You learn something new everyday. Didn't even know you couldn't get an iShift in a diesel Civic.

Erm, the one with the box on the back spoiler not the one beyond it which is obviously a type R. Look at the rear panel and lights compared to the type R in the background.
