Wheel Cleaning
Just tried a product that I haven't noticed before.
Turtle Wax 'Brake Dust Barrier'. I srayed the stuff on, used a paper towel to work it in, then buffed it up with a clean piece of paper towel. Got some VERY shiny wheels now. Impressed! "Believe nothing until it has been officially denied!" Charles H. |

No damage, just SHINE But I do use the Bounty Brand. ......and they've got lovely pictures on them nowadays. If you use a decent cloth the brake dust dirt really gets into the fibres and then they need to be chucked, 'cos once Lady H. bunged 'em in the wash and my jeans come out with fresh stripes on them! I've bought Lady H. a machine that avoids her the need to do that! ......because of the the low fuel consumption from Millie we are able to afford such luxuries! "The wine? Charles H.'Very Nice'. I wonder how they got the cat to sit on the bottle?" |

I think whatever you do avoid using any of the chemical applications available.
Wonder Wheels claims may sound good but if it gets under the lacquer then what it does sort of rhymes with lacquer |

I think that the worst stuff you can put on your weheels is that brake dust!
I don't reckon that does your wheels any good at all. A litte carefully applied chemical application will obviously rid you of that problem I reckon. "Having smoking and non-smoking sections in a restaurant is like having urinating ang non-urinating sections in the swimming pool!" Charles H. |
