Hi All,
I managed to put a scratch on the side of my Civic, fortunately the culprit was a branch sticking out of a bush and not something really nasty. I scratch doesn't appear to have gone through to the metal rather left a mark on the paint. I have read the contents of the thread > Scratches and before I go off and start t-cutting (if have had supraguarded) or using anthing similar I wondered if the mark would come off through a buffing cloth and some elbow grease. Thanks everyone Paul |

I'd like to say it would go with a bit of a buff, but I know people on here who have had superficial scratches that apparently would not be buffed out.

Please dont use t cut on metalic, one of the best products I have used for scratches is meguiars scratch x, but like you said you might have to use a bit of elbow grease but its worth it, also you might have to keep doing it till it faids, then put a bit of wax over it, it costs about £9.00 from halfords or any good car shop.

Polishers Beware!
Before you start using any of those 'deep cleaning' products be aware that as with all metallics, there is a clear laquer put on top of the 'metallic' bit to create the shine.
