To make it work you need a can of CO2.

Rather than buy and branded product why not use a CO2 fire extinguisher?

Looks like a big dent to me!

Have just tried on a small, shallow dent on my passenger door but just used compressed air. No joy.

Will try again tonight but heating the door with a hairdryer first.

Compressed air will not be at the same temp as the CO2.

......which is well before zero!

......at least your compressed air will blow the cobwebs off.

But if you turn the CO2 canister upside down, the CO2 comes out when you spray!

When I sprayed it on the door there was ice and the area on the door was cold after wiping the CO2 off after a short while.

The tip of turning the canister upside down is on the video, click the link in the first post of this thread.

Watcha gotta do is!

First heat the door with the hairdryer.

Then you apply the CO2, the cold stuff!

It's the action of heat/cold that straightens out yer dent!

Forget the CO2 spray (where can you buy that in UK??) and go for proper freezer spray (-40C)... get that from Maplins...It really chills..

I was hoping that seeing as it was hot today, if I just squirted the CO2 on it, that would be do it, but alas it didn't and the hairdryer will be needed.

I was gonna do it tonight, but wor lass is away for the week and I should've guessed she'd have taken the hairdryer.

Looks like its gonna have to wait until the weekend.

If you hold the can of compressed air upside down and spray it, it comes out in liquid form and I can tell you.... it is bldy cold!

I was assumimng that you were just using compressed air from a compressor.

Didn't know it came in cans!
