when to polish my new car

can i say that this is a cool web site and realy helpful. i would like to know when i should wax my car or put some sort of protection on it and what is the best product to use?i bought my car about 4 weeks ago now and i have just found a big stone chip which is down to the metal! which hopefully i am going to get it repaired by our local chips away fella. ( has any one had any repaires from chips away if so what are they like? i have a vivid blue type s gt)

glad you're finding it useful!

Personally I'd say it's never to early to wax - but then I'm a bit complusive (though not as much as some people in here )

Have a good read through the cleaning section (where I've moved this thread) for all sorts of interesting views on what is best to use

(It's swissol by the way - ignore anyone who says anything different *)

* you will notice that everyone has their own (different) opinion about what is best

Swissvax/Swissol is the best wax!
