Tyre wall cleaner

Hi Members,
I have a question for anyone reading, ......What tyre wall cleaner, Back 2 black, etc do you use when cleaning your car. I have been using the Tyre slick brand, (Auto express winner) with excellent results, However, what i dislike about this product is that after a short while my alloys look very dull and brake dust etc sticks to the sillicone overspray, i often have to wipe off this overspray daily,

(i assure ypu i spray the tyre wall and i think it spins off when driving)
Has anyone experienced this problem, or what can members recommend.
I like a clean car and i think the tyre black finishes it off.

There's a few schools of thought on this.

I was reading an article some time ago where they said that using these tyre cleaners removes the rubbers natural coating and can have a detrimental effect.

I use the Turtle Wax 'Foaming Tyre Shine'

You just spray it on and leave it!

Make sure that you rinse youir drive down soon afterwards tho', as the dissolved dirt can stain it!

Anyway 'tis the best that I've found so far.

Natural coating?

Surely tyres available today are all chemically loaded anyway?

Does say on the Turtle Wax can that it is harmless to wheels!

Doesn't mention the word tyres tho'!

Bin using it for years and have not noticed any problems at all.

I highly recommend the Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel. It does a great job on the tyres and also the plastic trim around the car. I got it from here www.carwashnwax.co.uk

Tip here!

Use the Black one as I've found that the Brown one doesn't look too good!
