Interior Protection

I love the nice fat seats and the touchy-feely alcantara material however I am very aware of how I rejected the opportunity for the dealer to superguard/safeguard the car (at £300) and now I am wondering what the best method is for protecting the interior seats?

Is Scotchguard the way to go or is there a better/more-suitable method for this type of fabric?

I would think that the 'Scotchguard' is the way to go.

So many different people seem to use it.

I suppose it works.

I would think that the only grief to applying it would be the labour involved.

I doubt if the price is off putting for self-application.

Don't know if it works on my Millie!

'twas applied FOC by the stealer.

The dirt, if any, just ain't there!

I don't think Scotchguard will stop seat 'wear n tear'. It only makes the fabric water resistant so that they can easily be cleaned. Best bet is retro leather. Results are great and the smell is wonderful...

Have a look in the Transform Leather section / Bespoke Leather Club.

I cannot agree more.

......but the Scotchguard cost around £7.99 and the leather costs a grand!

You get what you pay for. I reckon the extra £1992.01 is worth it for the aroma of that leather....oooh; I must just pop out to the garage for a moment......
