Rear Spoiler - Optional Extra
Has anyone had the optional rear spoiler in Knighthawk Black? I am thinking of forking out the £250 for this but havent seen it in this colour.
Does it make the rear of the car look better? I was just wondering as the rear is black anyway? Help Plz |

Hi Binchy
There are pictures of a NHB Civic with the rear spoiler fitted in this thread Stock clearance - 5 door trunk spoilers I does seem a little pointless on the black tailgate. Nobody would know you have it fitted. |

Cheers FOGGY69
Yeh you could be right. Im getting a Company car in the next four weeks and so this would be by only outlay (apart from tax of course). Hmmm im still tempted. It adds a little touch...although not a massive one. Was going to opt for the civic in vivid blue, which would make the spoiler look alot better. But the black plastic around the wheel arches etc put me off |

You have asked the right person about extolling the virtues of Vivid Blue.
Yes, the spoiler looks good on the Vivid Blue, and if you can persuade the company to paint the trim then you could have a Civic that looks as good as mine or Hondaatje's The best looking Vivid Blue Type-S in my street Hondaatje's vivid blue civic with pakfeifer spoiler There are lots of pictures throughout each thread of my favourite coloured Civic |

How much is it to paint the trims. It would have to be a Optional or factory fitted extra and couldnt be done after i had the car.
The company wouldnt pay either but if it was fairly cheap i would pay myself? Cheers |

There is no factory option to have the trims painted by Honda unfortunately.
I had the work done by a local bodyshop for £500, but I have seen other people quoted from £400 to £900, so it would pay to shop around. |
