I have them too.

Try the Meguairs 3 step cleaner/polish and wax. Goes a long way to helping disguise them.

Don't use a sponge when you clean the car, use a lambswool or microfibre mit instead. Sponges are one of the main culprits for light circular scratches, them and car washes.

Yep - wash with a mitt first, hose off, then dry off with a watermagnet or water blade thinggy. Then apply the megs products in 3 stages with an applicator sponge and remove with a good soft microfibre.

Its the car washes that are the killer - I think my dealer valeted mine using one and hence my swirls! That and its NHB and shows up everything!

what colour is it? black is the worst u will never get fully rid , it all depends how u wash. their are many grades of cutting creams to use all depends on how deep the swirls are when useing always use micro fiber cloth with hand not tcut . but ** friend said it will need polish out unless u know how to use machine i dont recomened u need to go threw different grade heads and polishes most vallets will never do this as i takes a lot of time and skill and pricy

used one of those jet washes on my black megane before i went to the civic and managed to blast some paint off. Then used the big brush and managed to put millions of little scratches all over the car, nightmare!
I use the meguiars stuff with the wash mitt and its ace. Did the whole lot yesterday and the car is gleaming!
