Rear wing (Boot spoiler)

Does anyone knows if the TypeR rear wing (boot spoiler) can fit TypeS?

I phoned my dealer today, and asked him, and he said that he believe that it doesn't fit (he said that it is not tested, neither from himself nor from anyone else) and he said that typeR rear glass has different part code than TypeS rear glass part code, so he explained the cars might have different rear glasses and the TypeR boot spoiler won't fit in TypeS

Is it tested? Do you know anything? An Aftermarket part maybe?

The price is about 600 Euros colour coded he said!! i think it is Very very expensive!!

It will fit, just not as it should, i.e glued instead of using the supplied brackets.

My dealer is confident that in time Honda will make a pseudo spoiler designed to fit the 5 door and S models.

Do you think that i should wait for something else (TypeS spoiler or an aftermarket) ?

The TypeR will fir right only with the glue? Is there a way that i can put the brackets or only glue? ( i mean, will it be steady only with the glue?)

Glue will work fine, my worry would be what you would do if you needed to remove it (for whatever reason).

but wait or not?

THAT is the question

If you wait, it could be ages.
But if you don't, then an alternative will be available 1 week after you buy the R version...
