Pollen on paintwork

The car park of my job is surrounded by trees & bushes etc.and
my car is covered with pollen,i wash it every week, but have noticed
that the pollen seems to be engrained in the paintwork, can anyone
suggest a product for cleaning the paintwork,(apart from t-cut) and
also which make polish/wax would be best to protect it for the coming
winter weather.the car is silver.
thks

My suggestion would be you need a clay bar initially, and a good wax/sealant.
It sounds like tree sap is being blown onto the car and the pollen sticking to it before drying.
The Bilt Hamber Auto Clay and Auto Balm would be my choice, and as such, you may as well go for the kit deal with the new Auto Wash, which is very good (based on initial testing).
Let them know you got the recommendation from me on this site, and they'll sort you out.

I was thinking pollen wouldn't stick to a car, it must be sap an then everything sticks to the car

Well, their Detailer got rid of all the tree sap on mine. But this is the link to the Ultimate Finish Co and they do several different makes. I reckon they may have just the answer; and it may not even be Meguiars! Although, personally........ Why not click on the link and have a browse...

I've used AutoGlym in the past but now I use Meguiars. I removed tree sap on my car with Meguiars Quik Detailer and it came off with no bother. But; you mention tree sap, pollen and maybe grit. Now I'm not sure whether that combination is best removed by meguiars, that's why I suggested that you made contact with The Ultimate Finish Co ( MEGUIARS ) as they have several products, one of which may be better for your problem. The link I gave will take you to their site and you can click on 'Contact Us' and ask them for their recommendation. You could try hot soapy water first though as this may dissolve and wash the problem away.

Good luck. Al.

Put your hand in a bit of cling film and move it over the paintwork. If it feels rough, then you need a clay bar, nothing else.
Re-read my post above for which one to use.
