Basically, use a different cloth, like linen or cotton. The back of an old shirt does the trick. I find NXT Glass Cleaner to be great but agree that a microfibre cloth does seem to drag a bit.

I use blue spirit (I hope I spell it good) in water and a soft cloth. After that I wipe the glass hard with a cotton old T-shirt. Works very good with no stripes, very clear..... Only inside

I'm having my windscreen replaced on Tuesday morning (cracked.. again!), so no need to clean it for a while.

I have got many of my builders out of trouble with this one, such as a scratch on a very expensive plastic bath,W.C., basin and scratches on window glass due to trowels etc.
Now I havn't got any scratches on my glass sun roof yet, but I'm sure they will be coming, So --
For light scratches, not swirl marks or bl--dy great digs, as doing it on the digs would lower the surounding glass level and it would show.
Go to your local glass or replacement uP.V.C. window company and get some diamond paste. For a couple of quid, they will fill up a very small medicine bottle for you.
Mix a small amount with water and form a smooth paste.
Rub on the scratch, using a round, flat, cotton wool pad that them indoors use for removing makeup. Being that glass is a bit hard, it will take a few minutes, but as it is diamond dust, it will do the job. Take a gander every now and again, by wiping off, to see how it is going.
Dont do the whole roof, cos its not required.
P.S. Yes I have used it on my cars, in the past. Had a really scratched windscreen, gawd knows how, but it polished out a treat.
