I'm sure that the kit is shown in white because:

1) that way you can see what you are buying more easily, and
2) is comes un-painted, so they are not opening themselves up to negative ebay feedback - "it turned up white, but was black in the pictures"...

From what I can make out, you might not need the wheel arches unless you go for the side skirts...

My house is surrounded by speed bumps and high curbs... I already scrape the curb lightly when I come out of the drive, so probably not the best of moves for me

In my opinion Honda designers have done a brilliant job. A standard Civic makes most cars look conservative and Type R is stunning, especially with front and rear splitters.

Why anyone would choose to fit this kit to thier car is way beyond me.

Agreed, they are an outrageous price! A couple of months back though my dealer was able to offer the Image Pack at half of list price under a bit of pressure from me, so it's worth asking........!!
