jamo, I tried this on my old 1.4 as I thought it would be a simple matter of replacing the plastic trim with the new one. No such luck- I got the metal trim and it has to be held on with a bracket. To go for the honda bracket you would need to buy loads of other brackets, holders and stuff. Cheapest way would be to get a metalworker to make you a bracket and in this case all you would need are the metal trims.
Hope this helps

Honda used to do a kit that converted 1.4's to full twin triangular exhaust set up, the part number is 06KIT SMG EXTFIN. Might be worth seeing if dealers can still order that.

Would two triangles from a music shop not do?

Or some silver glitter pens?

The Honda kit came not only with the triangular trims but also the rear section of a 1.8 exhaust to give you proper twin exhausts for your 1.4.
