Keeping car clean and alloys.

Hi all

I am a complete and utter novice when it comes to keeping my car clean.

Please can somebody tell me what to buy to clean the car and get it gleaming like a showroom car.

Also what product can I buy to keep my new set of type S wheels clean. I think there is some sort of stuff you put on wheels so that it is easy to get brake dust off. You put it on to protect from brake dust.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Griffian

I use Bilberry for the wheels but in this weather, the car does get neglected somewhat.

The Bilt Hamber range of products are very good and you get a Civinfo discount too.

With regards to your wheels, you need to get them as clean as you possibly can and then apply a sealant, something along the lines of these:

Alloy Protection - Waxamomo

Then your wheel will be very easy to keep on top of, the brake dust will wash off very easy indeed.
