How to clean the windscreen at Dash

OK I just can't see how you get to clean the inside part of the windscreen where it meets the dash on the drivers side, it's so tight.

What's the secret

Wrap a Micro fibre cloth round something long (a ruler for example) and get some poking action going

That's funny dude I use the exact same thing.. It's made from silicon rubber ..but I had a mental block and couldn't spell spatula ... So just went for ruler instead
