Another non civic correction, this time something special

2006 Aston Martin DB9. 6.0L V12 470BHP

Ive got no 50/50 shots regarding correction etc due to poor natural light and my halogens are rubbish, plus i'm no pro.

Products used on this were,
The usual strip back of protection (not that it had much )
using a bucket wash of fairy liquid and APC mix.
Carpro TarX
Carpro IronX
Bilt hamber regular clay, water as lube

Car washed and rinsed again, dried with the woolly mammoth then taped up with 3M tape.

My choice of pads/polish today was the Meguiars microfibre system and compound polish specifically disigned for use with a dual action polisher. Its the 1st time ive used this and i thought it was brilliant.

After machining toe car was then glazed with poorboys blackhole by DA using a 3M blue finishing pad at low speed. All polish and glaze buffed with a plush eurow towel.

Car was then snowfoamed using Magifoam basically to get rid of some minimal dust created by polishing. Once all rinsed and dried, DB9 was then treated with 2 coats of Optimum optiseal and topped with a spritz of CG V7.
Thats generally it, total time 11 hours and thats with my uncle doing the glazing for me. Enjoy the pics.

Not sure i've EVER used a sponge to wash any of my motors!!! Dad's when i was 9, for some punishment or pocket money maybe, lol.
And you'll be glad to know, only ever used fairy for lsp removal and a rebuild of protection, never as a regular car shampoo!!

Used some AG bodywork conditioning shampoo yesterday instead of Megs Wash & Wax. Very nice but couldn't split the 2 tbh. Also tried some BH QD, very nice and smelt good!! Lol

There you go, a step ahead of me already, although I was only about 16 last time I used a sponge

Nice one ! I like the technique of snow foaming after the glaze iv never thought of that. Did you use any ipa after the polish or just stright into the glaze ?
