An FN2 that many "Desire"

Hi guys.

My last detail session involved a paint correction of a rather abused black TypeR. The car was never properly looked after nor left in a decent parking slot. This is what I was up against:

The car was first cleaned with CG glassworks shampoo and then clayed with Bilt Hamper soft clay.

The alloys were first decontaminated with IronX from brake dust and then fully cleaned with Billbery.

Then the whole car was foamed again and took its place for correction.

Some 50/50 shots during correction stages

This foto is one of my favorites, which is taken immediately after polishing this rear left corner. For the rear spoiler I had the chance to polish with Kotsos's brand new Shinex. It is such a nice polisher and so well balanced that made the most difficult, in theory, part to polish such a joy.

Then the protection stage was on. The LSP chosen was AutoFinesse's flagship carnauba wax Desire.

I have to say I am really impressed by it. It gave a really nice deep but very rich black tone that really stands out.

And some final shots:

A special thanks to Kotsos for letting me use his Festool.
Thank you very much for your time.

It would cost quite a bit, as you would have to travel to Greece!

That's awesome. What polish did you use for the correction?

The bonnet was corrected with Megs #205 as the readings were really low there. To the rest of the car Menzerna Power Gloss, 203S and Megs 105 depending on the severity of the issues tackled.
The whole car was finally jewelled with Menzerna 85re.

Even jewelling after 205 which gives a great finish in itself, you are perfectionists

Wow, that's an incredible transformation!

Looks as bad/worse than my paintwork when I first got my car!

50/50 shots really stand out - Just goes to show how awful neglected black paintwork can look.

But by far the best colour when expertly detailed (and clean), though!
