Duratec'd fiesta detail..

Hi guys,
spent today detailing a friends car before he headed to Trax this evening. brief was a single stage machine polish just to breath a bit of life back into the tired looking paintwork (respray is on cards at some point anyway), as this is not a concours car it gets used and used hard
alrighty then, so tools and products used today were;

Kranzle K7
foam lance
autobrite magifoam
Espuma Revoultion wheel cleaner
Envy shampoo
Envy brushes
CCC Dissolver
Wheel Woolies
Zymol sponge
Serious Performance APC
CG clear buckets
Flexipads drying towel
various foam and microfibre applicators
various different cloths inc. Kent ones for dirty jobs and Costco one for glass and paintwork
IPA + Deionised water
CG V.R.P dressall
Scholl S40
CG hex logic green and black pads
Zaino Z-CS
Zaino Z2
Autosol
fine grade wire wool
Werkstat prime
Carlack glass sealant
homemade 'sun-gun' torch
LED lenser P7 torch
3m tape
PTG
CYC EP801 rotary polisher

before of engine bay, forgot to get an after as it was a mad rush to finish

having seen my detailing gear, a few mates decided to wash their cars and got through a whole bottle of CCC's Dissolver for me

light machine polish with the new rotary - very nice to use although real test will be on my car this week coming

now, i only have one finished pic as it was getting dark and my camera decided to die, it was finished with Z2 on the paintwork, prime on glass and carlack sealant on windscreen, Z-CS on calipers, wheels and carbon roof, autosol on tailpipes and various engine bay parts etc etc.

Is that fiesta RS bonnet vents with an extra scoop?

And what were you using the wire wool for???

i believe so, yes. large vent is there soley to feed the throttle bodies, so it may not be pretty but it works well

wire wool (fine grade) used with autosol on the tailpipes and with cloths on various parts in the engine bay including throttle body inlets and strut brace

2.0L Duratec from the fiesta ST with jenvey throttle bodies, did have a 1.7 puma engine before that
