Glaze by DA

When glazing with a DA how big an area can I work at a time and how long should I work it?

speed 3 work until it "melts into the paint" youll be able to see it!

work the same sort of area you would when polishing.

It is far quicker as it doesnt have to be worked in anywhere near as long! probably for a whole car half hour to an hour iirc when i did mine!!!!!

It is an essential step it really does make it stand out! plus its so easy to do! it melts in very quickly and wiping off takes 1 second if that lol

Good advice from Rob there Scott. Use a finishing pad on speed 3 and do horizontal and vertical overlapping passes like you would when polishing, the glaze will start to haze then wipe off. The whole car should only take an hour or so tops.

Same as the chaps said, although it took me nearly 4 hours to do 2 cars recently. 2 Japanese cars glazed with Prima Amigo & DA

Also it can depend on the temperature during the day, seems to take me longer in the winter but imagine i get a better finish. Takes me about an hour to do a whole civic.

You really need to put a wax or sealant over it

You can also layer it over a LSP if you like but ideally pop some on before

The only one I know that you can layer over an LSP is the Wet Glaze 2.0, other glazes will react with your LSP & in most cases remove it.

I havent any experience of Megs #7
So...armed with what youre claiming..I found this statement on the Autogeeks website:

Be certain to follow application with a coat of top-quality wax

I would say that with every type of glaze if you want to keep the look for longer, and as meg's is system based i would say #26

In the words of Mike Phillips who bought this product to my attention

"By the way, as someone else commented, usually, #7 is applied first, then wax is applied over it. This is because the #7 is water soluble and the wax isn't', thus the wax will act to "Lock" or "Seal" in the #7.

However¦ right before a show to make the paint look wet and to fill in hairline scratches, it is perfectly aright to apply the #7 on top of the wax, thus the name¦ Show Car Glaze. No more than 6-8 times with #26.

It was never formulated to be a lasting product, but instead a Beauty product . "
