brake pads

Hi. I recently ordered front and rear brake pads for a civic tourer 1.6 idtec from 2014. The new ones, from coxmotorparts where "Ate" , but the old and factory mounted ones where: "Galfer" in front and " Textar" in rear.
Why? Honda have changed the manufacturer? Cause the new ones have resolved 2 ancient problems: "Klock" in reverse and brake squeal.

Hello,

Thanks for your message. Honda do change manufacturers from time to time yes, as long as you received the correct part that matched up to your invoice then it is the correct part.
If you are having mechanical issues please email in to customersupport@coxmotorparts.co.uk and we can certainly look in to if for you just as long as you provide your order number.

Thanks again.
