5Dr Front Rubber Mats - 2008 onwards
I am looking to buy a set of front rubber mats for my 2008 Civic 5 door, and have been looking at the following link.
Genuine Honda Civic 5 Door Front Rubber Mats [08P18SMG513] - £21.20 : Cox Motor Parts Direct - Genuine Honda Brakes Clutches & Accessories The photo appears to show the wrong shape of mats, although i realise this might simply be for illustration only. Can you confirm that if i order these mats i will receive the correct shape for my car please? |

Hi
With the rubber mats, Honda only produced one set designed to fit all vehicles 2006>. I had to ring Honda to find this out as the mats only come with the 2006/2007 bracket, however they said it was not cost effective to tool up to make 2 different sets. The mats are designed not to slip. |

Thanks for the quick reply Dan.
I noticed from the photo that the drivers mat has the 2 holes for fixing to the floor in the 06-07 position, but im not bothered about that because i dont use it anyway. I was particularly concerned about the drivers mat being a different shape to my own carpet mat - the protruding square section at the front is on the left, whereas mine is more centred. You said the rubber mats are designed to fit all Civics from 2006 onwards, so even though they are a slightly different shape, as long as they sit flat on the floor in the available space and do not foul on anything, i will be happy to order a set. |

Just to add to the thread.
I have a 2009 civic & found that I had to cut about 1" off the leading edge of the drivers mat as it kept catching on the clutch pedal when it was depressed. |
