CPL Racing have been the European distributor for the EP3/FN2 Quaife ATB Helical LSD differentials for a few years now and for anyone new to the Honda scene we’d like to give you some information on this excellent product.
The Quaife is a direct replacement for the standard Honda open differential and will totally transform your car’s performance. (A couple of the CPL race team members have named the Quaife as THE best modification made to their car, despite spending thousands of pounds on other trick parts).

Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife LSD relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is much smoother in operation and is a “fit and forget” modification, as opposed to a plate diff which will require regular removal of the gearbox to maintain.

The Quaife diffs never lock harshly with a set pre-load of wheel slip across the driven axle, like a conventional LSD. Rather, the Quaife automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel across the axle, to a constantly varying degree, and never locks.

It has many benefits over a standard open differential, including maximising traction and minimizing wheelspin, eliminating torque steer and snatching in front wheel drive cars compared to conventional LSD units, and a maintenance-free design which retains the standard oil lubrication.

The Quaife diff is proven in circuit and drag racing, rallying and road use, and is produced from Corus steel billets, and is CAD designed and CNC machined, then inspected to ISO 9001 standards. The CPL Racing team cars are the most powerful Hondas in Europe and have continually broken records fitted with Quaife differentials. No other brand has been put under the level of stress that CPL Racing give these differentials.
Here at CPL we offer an expert fitting service in our workshop and can also offer a full range of Clutchmasters clutches and flywheels to compliment the Quaife differentials. As well as testing the differentials on their own, we have also undertaken some tests at the drag strip with and without a Quaife diff/Clutchmasters clutch/Clutchmasters flywheel and achieved times 0.5 seconds quicker with these modifications.

Quaife is the most well-proven, established and thoroughly tested brand on the market. Accept no imitations!

Yes I have one from CPL and yes it does transform the car especially in corners and hard launch !

Yes, I have also one of CPL.
It is wonderful with the TypeR through the corners to go.
A difference like day and night, describes the feeling at the very best.
