Hondata Group N ECU

The Hondata Group N ECU for the Civic Type R 2007 onwards FN2 model will increase torque and bhp throughout the rev range and give greatly improved acceleration. With this replacement ECU the VTEC point is lowered to 3800 rpm and the rev limit raised to 8600 rpm.
The ECU will work well on an otherwise standard car, or car with CPL manifold fitted or any combination of cat-back system and/or intake system and/or CPL manifold. Performance with other modifications has not yet been tested by CPL Racing.
Fitting is easy, all that is required is to disconnect the battery, unplug the cars original ECU, plug in the Hondata one and reconnect the battery. That’s all there is to it.
The ECU replaces original Honda part number 37820-RSP-E02 and is compatible for use in all UK/European cars. Customers outside of Europe should check the part number of their existing ECU to confirm compatibility, if in doubt please contact us here at CPL Racing.
CPL Racing stock the Hondata Group N ECUs with the immobilizer disabled which are available for next day delivery. For anyone wishing to have the ECU with the immobilizer enabled, lead time is approximately 5 days. ECUs which have the immobilizer enabled will need to be taken to a local Honda dealer for the keys to be recoded. Cost of this is usually around £25 to £30 but please check with your local dealer. Regardless of the immobilizer option chosen the car’s alarm system will function as normal.
Price is £607.82 excluding VAT. Unfortunately no discounts or group buys are available on this item.
Below is a dyno chart showing a comparison of WHEEL horsepower with a standard car.
Please note CPL Racing cannot give advice on car insurance and Honda warranty matters.

Installing the Hondata ECU disables the immobiliser.

You have the options however, to get it re enabled but as stated, this will increase lead time and cost more.
