Flat spot

Looking at getting my civic type-r Ep3 down to you soon to have some work done.

My car is standard apart from a Gruppe M intake and a K-pro ECU.
Since installing the K-pro and intake the car wont rev above 3k and just hits a flat spot. Also the car struggles to start, like its starved of something?

Looking at trying to get it down to you to have my JRSC fitted and mapped.
Any ideas what the problem may be?

Adam

try put your original ECU back in, think it's the map on the kpro that's causing the problems

Or put one of the base maps from the Kpro management software on it.

Do you know what the Kpro was mapped for previously?

Hi Adam,

It sounds like your car is on limp mode.

Check that you have not disturbed something whilst fitting the Gruppe M

Also try loading one of the base maps from the software as previously suggested.

Did you purchase the KPro used?

Have you removed the MAF sensor if it has one?
Basically check all the sensor are connected and oriented the right way.
Check all the vacuum pipes are connected or plugged.
Check for air leaks.
