Big thanks to CPL Racing

Hi,

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up and a thanks to CPL Racing for all their hard work in supplying and fitting my JRSC.

I've had the kit a while now and can't stress enough how pleased I am with the kit and service they have provided. Lunartick, iheartfn2, trphil, and Colin Type S have all driven my car now and were all blown away by the JRSC. I am looking forward to getting it on track the end of this month.

Guy and Lynn have been very helpful and friendly. They are clearly very knowledgeable and have an impressive workshop with some interesting cars each time I have visited.

In fact everytime I have visited they have had different customer cars from all around Europe (Jaspers EP3 is amazing!), very impressive that they have customers from so far away.

Also a big thanks for your time yesterday and supplying me some spare parts on such short notice.

Anyone thinking of getting work done by CPL Racing won't be disappointed.

Thanks again.

Ashley

Hi ash, glad your pleased with the car mate! (I can't remember sorry) what power is the car putting out now? Is fuel economy at a "joke" level or is it still not bad? Was there any fabrications needed to fit the charger? Or did it just bolt straight on? It's just I'm trying to plan my next move and the Jackson is one of those which I'm thinking about...

Cheers

Fuel economy is actually really good, stay out of boost and its better than when the car was NA. In boost its very thirsty.

The power delivery is really progressive which is great, thats why I wanted an Eaton based charger. I think the kit was all supplied by JR, the only difference to the standard kit was the pulley that Guy made himself.

I've had an LSD from them and more recently new valve springs, retainers and seats but after people told me not to go with titanium retainers I asked if I could send them back and lost £50 in the process as there as a 25% "restocking fee". It would have been nice if CPL could have told me titanium retainers should not be used in a road car before I made this costly mistake.
