iPhone - Streaming music??

Hi,

Will be taking delivery of my new Civic on 1st March (yeah geeky but, my birthday aswell ) and would like to know if anyone has managed to stream music from their iPhone to the Civic? I have paired my phone and tested with a demo car, but was unable to get my iPod function of the phone to play music through the car.

If anyone has any ideas, or even better, a solution, please, please let me know.

Cheers,

Jamie @ Fuzion

The Civic's bluetooth is only for the HFT and is very basic.

In order to stream music, the HU would need to have bluetooth built in and the A2DP profile.

Don't have my civic yet but in my Toyota i have an ILUV I707 fm sender for my ipod, sounds great, plugs into lighter socket, holds ipod and charges it. Cost £21 from my local computer shop.

Also the iphone only supports headset pairing as a bluetooth function with the play solution you get an dongle u connect to the iphone.

it works rather well, only downside is u cant charge it at the same time
