Why?
Every other Civic without heated seats has them. Just because the top of range EX with leather has the swiches, why should Honda add cost and remove the blanking plates on models lower down the range? Last edited by Bog; 21st January 2008 at 07:50. |

I always found that by the time the seat had warmed up sufficiently the heater was blowing hot anyway. |

Different country options.
UK doesnt get cold enough to warrent heated seats on non-leather, though it would still be nice I am sure; I believe this is down to 'Market Research'.... Re the heating time, I find mine heats up very quickly, the high setting does this, then I switch to low to keep me toasty... |

I would be amazed if you couldn't! The switches are different left and right side (don't ask why!), and have 6 or 7 pins each. So you might also need to purchase the connector block (which might be waaay pricey if it's part of a bigger set of wiring), or make up your own connectors. The good news is that that are several pin combos for 'on - high', more for 'on -low' and just one combo for 'off', so plenty to choose from |
