I see you are in M/cr. Does your version have the correct junction layout on M60 Sale/Stretford................assuming of course you have been that way. Don't go specially to see !!!!

Surely you could help us all out, especially "Britsbest" and zoom in on the map over the M60 and let us know if it does give the details on the screen for the M60. You don't have to drive it.

If it Doesn't you've been ripped off mate.

Sat Nav map updates are often 6 to 12 months out of date. The new junction has been opened about that long, if I remember correctly, so we might have to wait until the next map issue to have the junctions show correctly.

Well, as I live very very close to that junction I do know the layout of the road and it is VERY tricky, I still get it wrong occasionally ! Unfortunately I do not have the Sat Nav/HFT but I may be able to look on someone else's at the Lancs/Yorks meet and would be able to tell you after seeing it. I would be very surprised if the Sat Nav has it right, the works have not that long been finished. For example, a couple of original junctions, Sale A56 and Sale Moor now have a 'shared' exit from the main motorway, to come off at Sale Moor from the Northern direction you MUST come off on the A56 exit immediately after the Carrington exit. You then bear right to avoid the A56 exit. If you miss the A56 exit you cannot get off at Sale Moor but have to go to the next exit and turn round using another complicated procedure !

Not sure what you mean when you say "ripped off" and i don't think there was any need for the sarcastic "surely"!
I will take a look at the sat nav map but if i don't drive it i am not sure how true it is.
Like i said in another of my posts, it puts me on my street when i set it for home and not the street next to it like the older disk did.

gray52. Have you purchased it from a dealer? If not where did you get it from? Thanks.

i think its a case of who you know. these are being fitted to the new cars so they are about. these will be a small fortune from the dealer now they are on 2 disks.

They are definitely not available yet - and the new car ones have no cases. PM on it's way!

I wonder when they are available can we just buy the Europe/UK disk rather than have to fork out for both disks as a set which some of use don't want ?

I Would Say It Will Be 2 Disks Only As This Will Have One Part Number, And You Would Still Need This To Complete Western Europe As Well As Eastern. Get You Wallet Out And Sit Down When They Tell You The Price.

I wasn't being sarcastic, i was meaning that you can check if there is a new junction on the map by zooming in on the area in question. You don't have to drive the route to find this out.
If the map doesn't show this then it is obviously still out of date and surely is a waste of money. No sat -nav is 100% true.
As long as mine gets me home from a run out then that'll do.

Thats okay ctrdaveg! I belive you! I know some changes have been made on the new disk as my road is on this one and not the old one. I have sold my old disk on ebay so it didn't cost that much. You will probably have the latest version in your car. When i sell my car in a couple of years the nave disk will only be a few years out of date not 5. Ps can I have a go in your car!

judging buy the map, its about 18months old already. i know this as ive got a tomtom map with the same new roads on it as this (now 18months old) and these are the only 2 maps ive seen these new roads on. ive tried the latest map from tomtom and these new roads are still not on there. ive tried garmin as well and still no luck. it is a vast improvement over the older versions.
