Probably the same but it may depend on the road conditions.
On the M25, clockwise, there seems to be a recurring Thu/Fri pattern of heavy traffic between junctions 9 and 11 and then another, longer jam between junctions 12 and 17. 11 to 12 seems to escape the worst of it. I join at J11. When I'm approaching J11 the start of the jam (triangle) at J9 is 'off the radar' but the continuous red line tells me that there is a jam right across where I'm about to join. Last Friday all I could see was a triangle at J12 which told me nothing because I wasn't in navigation mode so it could have been for the other direction. From what I have learnt, the new v 3.23 has all the improvements I mentioned previously plus the traffic flow is back. |

If v3.23 has these faults fixed then hopefully all 08MY owners can claim a proper working version under warrenty.
Do we go to dealers for this or contact Honda direct? |

Difficult one.
The first course of action would be to read the SatNav manual and pick out the section relevent to 'Traffic Flow' and if the version you have doesn't produce Traffic Flow then query this with the dealer. I think that would hold more water than any references here to what may be termed as heresay. |

I collected my Civic today (yaaay !) and I received v3.23.
The TMC items seem to be fine and I have the red lines along roads to show you where the delays are. Hope this helps. |

Well - almost proper job :
Had a bit of time to play with the routing, and whilst the straight route to the mother-in-laws has reduced by 17 miles (over what should be a 104 mile journey) the route to the sister-in-laws is hopeless. The s-i-l lives about 4 miles from the m-i-l in Worcestershire. Route from home to m-i-l now 112 miles instead of the old 129 miles. Route from home to s-i-l is still the same 129 miles ! However - if I put in a single waypoint (Pershore) I can reduce both journeys to 106 miles which is far more like it and is almost the journey I actually use. Previously I needed to put in 3 waypoints to get the same journey. As they say - "Close but no cigar". |

3.23 shows the traffic jams better - the road is coloured red where the problem is, and if you zoom in enough, in which direction.
On 3.22 it just put the congestion icon where the jam is, no red line Minor change, but could make all the difference if you tend to travel on a lot of busy roads |

Unfortunately I bought my 3.22 (original) from a German retailer via tinterweb so I'm stuck with it, although I never really used the flow lines and other than that TMC still works just fine.
