Hello, i have receive one diagnostic trouble code:

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1228 Definition

could be temporary - try to disconnect the battery for at least 1 minute and see if it goes away - if not, it means a trip to the dealer

No its not temporary error. I don't need disconnect the battery, becouse this code i get by myself, started DTC diagnostic. And don't send me to dealer, I won't go any way

.

Where I can find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) table or list? I try search this thing in google, bet no result

B1228 is "A Short in the Outside Air Temperature Sensor Circuit". PM on it's way.

Ok it's help.

Problem was with oudside sensor here:

hi, i am a honda technician and have looked up your trouble code. i have found the dtc and have listed it below. it may not be accurate as i dont know the model or year of your vehicle or the chassis number. if the dtc i have liestd is correct then im afraid its a trip to your dealer. i have not come across this dtc before. i hope i have helped.

Honda Tech, thanks for that - doesn't look too different to my post (number 4 above). Looks like the owner found and fixed the fault too.

[Hello honda tech. i have a civic 2.2 2006. my system check warning light has been coming on for a couple of seconds, a couple of times a week from new. have had 2 new batts but no different. by chance i decided to press info button when warning comes on and ABS warning comes on. took car to dealer only to be fobbed off with low voltage when starting issue but not enough cars out there doing this for it to be a problem. have you had any customers out there with similar probs
