Autoleads adapter for Bluetooth kits

For those who do not have the factory fit HF phone kit, there is now another option.

Autoleads have released an adapter cable which will allow you to connect a Parrot Bluetooth Kit to the headunit. The model number of the cable is SOT-908 . The parrot kits can be seen here

http://www.parrot.biz/uk/products/ck3100-lcd

I currently have this model fitted to my Golf, and would certainly be putting it in my Civic when it arrives, if it had not got the Honda one as standard.

Gotta say that I believe it is at least as good as the Honda offering. Speech and sound is superb, shows incoming calls, voice recognition etc.

It can also be found for £100 or less. Bit of a bargain really.

I also understand that there will be other autoleads soon - This could be the beginning of a decent IPOD solution - lets hope so

If interested best get in touch with autoleads direct. I am only the messenger.

I have searched the internet and looked at the autoleads web site and they do not mention the SOT-908 cable for the Civic. Any idea where I can get this cable from?

I haven't bought the Parrot 3200 yet, I was hoping to buy them together from one site and save on postage.

Very interested in doing this, but would this stop me ever getting a 3.5mm AUX in? I guess it uses the same input on the HU?

The cheapest I have found the 3200 is ebay, (£117 + 6.95P&P) however, I doubt you would get much support should there be any problems. Looking at the volume this seller gets through I imagine the selling process is fully automated, which can mean that if anything goes wrong getting a response may take some time.

Could also try (£134):
